ENERGY HUB
Thessaloniki, Greece
Moving beyond the concept of an energy park, it establishes a mixed-use living laboratory that integrates technology, landscape infrastructure, mobility systems, and everyday use. The site is organized into six clusters, ranging from a public main building and innovation displays to sport and leisure areas, logistics support, self-sufficient housing, and experimental energy landscapes. Together, these clusters showcase renewable energy across multiple scales, from urban life and mobility to industry, living, and agriculture. Movement is embedded into the design through a test-drive loop for electric vehicles and a network of distributed parking and micro mobility stations. Overall, the masterplan defines an open, educational, and experimental urban destination where renewable energy is spatially expressed and integrated into daily life.
